Lamas Building

A neighborhood-scale building within the fabric of Montevideo: exposed brick, concrete and planted balconies, designed to age well and bring greenery to the street.

The staggered concrete balconies incorporate planters that follow the rhythm of the facade, where brick, metal and vegetation converse with the neighborhood sky.

The barbecue area, resolved in wood and corten steel, continues the material language of the whole: few materials, used with intention, gaining character over time.
